Ascension LLC is seeking high-impact Workforce Training Facilitators and Certified Leadership Coaches who can deliver, scale, and elevate enterprise-wide training and leadership development programs in support of a mission-driven federal client.
This role is critical to ensuring that training programs are not just delivered, but adopted, retained, and translated into measurable workforce performance improvements. The ideal candidate brings a combination of facilitation expertise, executive presence, and coaching capability to engage both frontline personnel and senior leadership.

Summary of the Contractor Role
The Workforce Training Facilitator & Certified Leadership Coach is responsible for delivering instructor-led and virtual training (ILT/VILT), executing Train-the-Trainer (T3) programs, facilitating leadership development sessions, and conducting individual and group coaching engagements.
This role supports a high-volume, enterprise training environment, requiring the ability to manage multiple sessions, audiences, and learning formats while maintaining consistency, engagement, and quality of delivery.
The ideal candidate is:
- A confident communicator and facilitator with strong executive presence
- A self-driven professional capable of operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Skilled in adapting delivery styles to diverse audiences (frontline staff to executives)
- Experienced in administering and interpreting leadership assessments (e.g., DiSC, CliftonStrengths, Hogan, EQ tools)
- Capable of identifying learning gaps and reinforcing behavior change through coaching
The candidate will help the client:
- Scale training delivery across the organization
- Improve leadership effectiveness and workforce performance
- Ensure training consistency across distributed teams
- Reinforce adoption of new processes, tools, and cultural initiatives
Tools and platforms leveraged include:
- Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and virtual facilitation platforms
- Coaching and leadership development frameworks
- Learning management systems (LMS) and training evaluation tools
Day-to-Day Activities
- Deliver Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions across multiple cohorts
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer (T3) programs to enable internal training sustainability
- Conduct leadership development workshops for emerging and senior leaders
- Administer and interpret leadership and behavioral assessments (DiSC, CliftonStrengths, Hogan, EQ)
- Provide 1:1 and group coaching sessions to reinforce learning and drive behavior change
- Adapt training delivery to varied audiences, learning styles, and organizational needs
- Collaborate with instructional designers to refine content based on learner feedback and outcomes
- Monitor participant engagement and adjust facilitation strategies in real time
- Support training logistics, scheduling, and coordination for large-scale delivery efforts
- Capture feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs
- Utilize collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Miro) to enhance virtual engagement
- Maintain alignment with organizational goals, change initiatives, and performance outcomes
