Ascension LLC is seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to lead mission-critical CRM platform initiatives supporting a federal client within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role is essential to ensuring successful delivery of enterprise cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) services, with a strong emphasis on project governance, stakeholder coordination, and performance oversight across all contract objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and execution-focused leader with deep experience managing Salesforce implementations in federal environments, capable of aligning technical delivery with mission outcomes. This individual will serve as the primary interface with the COR and program stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all workstreams.

This role is critical to achieving program success by driving quality reporting, governance compliance, and performance metrics aligned with QASP requirements, ensuring all objectives are met efficiently and effectively.


Position Summary

The Salesforce Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce-based CRM solutions in a federal environment. The role requires strong expertise in Agile delivery, program governance, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with DHS mission priorities.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. They must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate risks, and proactively develop solutions while maintaining strong communication with federal stakeholders.

This individual will leverage tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365 (including Power Platform), Jira, and ServiceNow, along with structured project management methodologies, to ensure successful delivery and reporting.

Ascension’s experience supporting DHS programs in project management, stakeholder engagement, data analytics, and SharePoint-based collaboration environments directly aligns with the needs of this role, including governance, reporting, and performance tracking.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce CRM project delivery across all lifecycle phases
  • Coordinate with COR and stakeholders to conduct quarterly program reviews and status briefings
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, project plans, and risk registers
  • Oversee Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Establish and enforce project governance frameworks and performance controls
  • Monitor and report quality metrics in alignment with QASP requirements
  • Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports and executive dashboards
  • Manage cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and SMEs
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, working groups, and decision forums
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success
  • Ensure compliance with federal IT standards, security, and data governance policies
  • Oversee configuration and deployment of Salesforce solutions
  • Support change management, user adoption, and training activities
  • Coordinate integration efforts with enterprise systems and data sources
