Ascension LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator (Data & Program Support) to support federal data analysis and program management initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring the successful coordination, scheduling, documentation, and execution of project activities across multiple task areas, including project management, transition planning, and data-driven program support.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic federal consulting environment and brings strong operations, coordination, and analytical support capabilities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring project continuity, maintaining organized documentation, and supporting stakeholder engagement and reporting activities that directly impact program performance and compliance outcomes.
This role aligns with Ascension’s core strengths in program management, data analytics, stakeholder coordination, and performance reporting supporting federal agencies such as DHS, FEMA, and DOE.
Summary of the Contractor Role
The Project Coordinator will provide operational and administrative support across Task 1 (Project Management) and Task 2 (Transition In/Out). This role ensures that all project activities are well-coordinated, documented, scheduled, and executed efficiently.

This role supports the customer’s need for consistent project execution, accurate documentation, effective communication, and seamless transition support, which are essential to maintaining compliance, performance reporting, and operational continuity.
Tools and Processes Utilized:
- Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- SharePoint (document management and collaboration)
- Project tracking tools (MS Project, Planner, or similar)
- Data tracking and reporting tools
- Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation frameworks
Day-to-Day Activities
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables across task areas
- Support transition-in and transition-out planning activities, including documentation and checklists
- Maintain and update project trackers, action logs, and status reports
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
- Develop and maintain meeting minutes, summaries, and action item tracking
- Organize and manage project documentation within SharePoint or shared repositories
- Support preparation of reports, briefings, and deliverables for federal stakeholders
- Assist with data collection, validation, and tracking for program reporting
- Monitor deadlines and proactively communicate risks or delays to project leadership
- Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project management processes, templates, and quality standards
