Ascension LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant to support a high-visibility Proof of Concept (POC) focused on modernizing legacy systems and enabling integration between Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), a custom Web Application, and SharePoint Embedded.

This role is critical to validating that core business processes, data flows, and approval workflows within Oracle EBS are properly integrated, aligned, and optimized within a modern Microsoft-based architecture. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS modules, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into system logic that supports warehouse operations, order validation, and workflow automation.

Summary of the Role

The Oracle EBS Functional Consultant will serve as the functional lead for all Oracle EBS-related integration, validation, and workflow alignment activities within the POC.

This individual will:

• Ensure Oracle EBS data (inventory, orders, approvals) is accurately retrieved, validated, and processed
• Validate business rules such as PRE_PROCESS logic, order validation triggers, and approval workflows
• Align Oracle EBS outputs with the WebApp and SharePoint-based document workflows
• Support end-to-end testing of warehouse order lifecycle scenarios, including submission, approval, rejection, and back-order processing

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Activities

• Analyze and document Oracle EBS business processes related to warehouse order management
• Configure and validate Oracle EBS integration points for inventory data retrieval and order validation
• Validate PRE_PROCESS logic and stored procedures used in order submission workflows
• Support implementation and testing of approval routing and role-based validation logic
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate data mapping between EBS, WebApp, and SharePoint
• Validate outputs for warehouse orders, including order status, approvals, and back-order scenarios
• Participate in end-to-end functional testing across all POC use cases
• Troubleshoot integration and validation issues across Oracle EBS workflows
• Ensure alignment between EBS business rules and modern workflow automation tools
• Document functional requirements, business rules, and validation results
• Support stakeholder demonstrations and provide functional insights during reviews
