Non-Lead Procurement Analyst 2026P-0742
Protect our Land, Ascend with Us!
Ascension seeks five federal procurement analysts who can independently process completed FTA actions from assignment through a quality-ready closeout package. The strongest candidates bring hands-on federal closeout experience, careful financial reconciliation, disciplined electronic records management, and the judgment to identify issues early. They work well with limited supervision while coordinating promptly with the lead and Government stakeholders.
Role summary
Each analyst reviews contractual and payment history, assembles required closeout records, reconciles obligations, and prepares draft modifications and supporting documentation for lead review. The role helps FTA reduce its closeout backlog while protecting the integrity of financial records and the contract file. Analysts must organize multiple actions, document exceptions, and communicate practical next steps. They may prepare recommendations and draft correspondence, while the Government CO retains approval and signature authority.
Expected activities
Review assigned contracts and orders with the COR and CO to establish closeout eligibility and missing documentation.
Prepare checklists, releases of claims, SF 30 closeout modification drafts, D&Fs, patent and invention records when applicable, and other required file material.
Reconcile obligations, UDO balances, disbursements, and proposed de-obligations in Delphi and TrAMS when applicable; coordinate discrepancies with budget and accounts payable.
Process FFP, labor-hour, and time-and-materials closeouts, and support occasional cost-reimbursement, final indirect-rate, and FAR 42.708 quick closeout actions.
Create and update closeout records in ESC PRISM and initiate applicable closeout modules and system actions as directed.
Apply FAR 4.804 and 4.805, TAR, TAM, FTA’s closeout manual, and electronic retention requirements.
Submit complete packages to the Lead Procurement Analyst for QA/QC, resolve review comments, and support CO review and distribution.
Maintain accurate action status, pending-item notes, and de-obligation data for the monthly reports; support ad hoc data calls and UDO reviews.
Communicate with contractors and FTA offices as directed, escalating negotiation and decision matters to authorized Government personnel.
