Ascension LLC is seeking a Junior Training Instructor / Facilitator to support the delivery of high-volume, frontline workforce training initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring that training programs are delivered consistently, effectively, and at scale to meet client operational and performance objectives.
The ideal candidate is an engaging communicator and facilitator who thrives in both in-person and virtual environments, with the ability to manage logistics, coordinate training sessions, and support large cohorts of learners. This individual will play a key role in reinforcing learning objectives, ensuring participant engagement, and supporting the successful execution of training programs aligned with organizational goals.
This role is well-suited for candidates with experience in training delivery, adult learning, workforce development, or facilitation, particularly in government or regulated environments.
Position Summary
The Junior Training Instructor / Facilitator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of instructor-led training (ILT) sessions across multiple cohorts. This includes both in-person and virtual training environments, requiring adaptability, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
The candidate will support training logistics, scheduling, learner coordination, and facilitation, ensuring seamless execution of training events. The role requires an individual who is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple training sessions simultaneously, often in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Day-to-Day Activities
- Facilitate instructor-led training (ILT) sessions in both virtual and in-person environments
- Coordinate training schedules, participant rosters, and session logistics
- Prepare training materials, presentations, and supporting documentation
- Engage learners through interactive facilitation techniques and structured discussions
- Support high-volume training cohorts, ensuring consistency across sessions
- Track attendance, participation, and completion metrics
- Assist with virtual training platform setup (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect)
- Respond to participant questions and provide real-time support during sessions
- Collaborate with senior instructors, SMEs, and program managers to ensure alignment with training objectives
- Collect feedback through surveys and evaluations to support continuous improvement
- Maintain training records and documentation in accordance with client requirements
