Ascension is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer / Salesforce Administrator to support a federal customer in advancing its enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Salesforce-based solutions that support mission-critical operations.
The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with a strong foundation in Salesforce administration and development, combined with an interest in supporting federal programs through structured, data-driven, and secure system solutions. This role supports broader objectives in data management, workflow automation, system integration, and operational analytics, which are core to Ascension’s service delivery model .
This position plays a key role in helping the customer improve business processes, enhance data visibility, and ensure system configurations align with evolving mission requirements.
Position Summary
The Junior Salesforce Developer / Administrator will support the configuration, development, and maintenance of Salesforce environments, including sandbox management, user support, and DevSecOps-aligned activities. The candidate will work closely with senior developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

Day-to-Day Activities
- Configure and maintain Salesforce environments, including user roles, profiles, and permissions
- Support development activities including Apex, Lightning components, and workflows (as applicable to junior level)
- Assist in managing sandbox environments, including setup, refresh, and testing support
- Support DevSecOps processes including version control, repository management, and deployment coordination
- Perform data management activities including data imports, cleansing, and validation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Develop reports and dashboards to support program performance tracking
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues and resolving user tickets
- Participate in testing activities, including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Document configurations, processes, and system changes
- Support continuous improvement efforts for CRM and workflow automation
