Position Summary:
As a Business Data Analyst III, you will lead analytical projects, develop comprehensive reports and dashboards, and assist the USCG leadership with data-driven decisions that influence program efficiency and operational success. Your expertise in data analysis and ability to visualize trends will directly contribute to process optimization and the USCG’s procurement and contracting systems. You will collaborate with internal teams, provide recommendations, and support key contracting and financial reporting systems like FPDS-NG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex analytical projects and deliver actionable insights that enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and drive business value for the USCG.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to present timely, accurate data that informs internal stakeholders and supports contracting processes.
- Assist with market research, pre-solicitation documentation, and cost/benefit analysis during the solicitation phase of procurement efforts.
- Support post-award contract administration by assisting with invoicing processes and maintaining FPDS-NG reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and apply data-driven solutions to meet evolving goals.
- Provide systems support for external contracting platforms, ensuring data accuracy and assisting with system administration tasks for ongoing compliance.
