Position Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager (Web Strategist) who will lead Ascension’s delivery of the RTA Website Redesign Services project. This role combines user experience (UX) strategy, stakeholder engagement, and project management to ensure the planning, design, and deployment of a modern, accessible, and user-centered website that aligns with RTA’s branding and public service goals.
The Project Manager also oversees government documentation and compliance, ensuring all deliverables, insurance requirements, and ADA conformance reports meet state and local procurement standards.
Project Manager (Web Strategist) Day-to-Day Activities:
- Lead project planning, stakeholder discovery, and definition of goals and success metrics.
- Develop and manage the project roadmap, milestones, and progress reporting.
- Translate functional requirements into content structures and information architecture.
- Oversee design reviews, user experience, and accessibility alignment.
- Coordinate workstreams between design, development, and QA.
- Oversee government documentation, ADA conformance attestations, and procurement deliverable submissions to ensure full RTA and Ascension contract compliance.
- Deliver two (2) hands-on staff training sessions and user documentation.

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, or related field. | Proven success managing CMS-based redesigns for public-sector or transportation clients. |

| TECHNICAL SKILLS | Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements. |
| DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS | Master’s degree in Project Management, UX Design, or related discipline. | PMP, Agile, or CSM certification. | Experience with government contracts and documentation compliance. | Knowledge of transit, municipal, or public service web projects. |
| SUITABILITY/SECURITY RQMTS | Must be authorized to work in the United States. | Successful completion of Ascension’s background check and reference verification. |
