We’re looking for a Financial & Economic Analyst / Data Analyst that will conduct fiscal impact assessments, develop financial models, and support data-driven decision-making for the City’s policy initiatives. This role integrates economic analysis with quantitative data modeling to assess proposed legislative or programmatic actions.
Financial & Economic Analyst / Data Analyst Day-to-Day Activities:
- Perform cost-benefit analyses and revenue impact modeling to support Council priorities.
- Collect, clean, and analyze financial and demographic data.
- Build and maintain Excel-based models in compliance with City requirements (unlocked, transparent calculations).
- Collaborate with policy and project management teams to integrate data insights into reports.
- Support the creation of dashboards and visualizations for decision-makers.
- Draft technical memos summarizing assumptions, methods, and findings.
