Ascension is seeking a high-performing Senior Salesforce Developer to support a mission-critical DHS enterprise cloud initiative focused on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform modernization.

Position Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will support the design, development, integration, and modernization of enterprise CRM solutions using the Salesforce platform. This includes developing custom applications, configuring platform capabilities, integrating with external systems, and supporting incident resolution across Tier 2/3 environments.

The candidate is expected to:

• Be a self-driven technologist capable of working with minimal oversight

Day-to-Day Activities

• Design and develop Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce
• Configure Salesforce platform features including workflows, validation rules, and security models
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware
• Perform system enhancements and support ongoing modernization initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2/3 production issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system artifacts
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise architecture
• Support data migration, data quality, and reporting/dashboard development
• Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements
