Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead (Enterprise Cloud & CRM Programs) 2026P-0285
Ascension is seeking a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to support enterprise cloud and customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives within a federal environment. This role is critical to ensuring Agile execution, sprint delivery, and cross-team coordination across development, release, and operations teams.
The ideal candidate is a servant leader and delivery-focused professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has experience driving Agile maturity across federal programs. This individual will play a key role in aligning technical delivery with mission outcomes, supporting stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of sprint and release cycles.
This position directly supports Ascension’s core capabilities in Agile program management, business process improvement, and technology enablement, as demonstrated through DHS and DOE program delivery efforts.
Position Summary
The Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for facilitating Agile processes, ensuring sprint execution, and coordinating across technical and functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions. This role serves as the bridge between product owners, developers, and stakeholders, ensuring that priorities are translated into actionable deliverables and completed efficiently.

This role supports Agile delivery, release coordination, cross-team execution, and incident support, ensuring alignment between development activities and mission-critical outcomes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Track sprint progress, velocity, and performance metrics using Jira or similar tools
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across development, testing, release, and operations
- Remove impediments impacting team delivery and escalate risks as needed
- Support release planning and execution across multiple environments
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlog and prioritize user stories
- Ensure alignment between committed stories and delivered outcomes
- Monitor Agile KPIs and provide reporting to leadership
- Drive continuous improvement across Agile processes and team performance
- Support incident response coordination and operational readiness activities
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Document processes, workflows, and lessons learned to improve delivery maturity
