Ascension LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee contract support services for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), specifically supporting the Director of Contracting and Procurement (CG-HCA) and the Office of Procurement Policy and Oversight (CG-HCA-PPO). This role is critical for managing cradle-to-grave contracting tasks, assisting with procurement systems, and providing office support for senior leadership within these program offices. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the contract support services outlined in the BPA Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Summary of the Contractor Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the contract lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery. The position requires direct oversight of the project’s scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and delivering the services on time and within budget. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the USCG (specifically within the CG-HCA and CG-HCA-PPO program offices), act as a liaison between various stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the USCG’s goals.

Day-to-day activities will include:

  • Overseeing project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure compliance and successful delivery of the contract.
  • Coordinating with senior leadership to assess project status and review deliverables.
  • Managing resources and facilitating stakeholder communications, ensuring project activities are aligned with the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and strategic advice to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Leading and facilitating meetings with government officials, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Monitoring and mitigating project risks, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Sustainability RequirementsMust pass a DHS Public Trust or Moderate Risk-level clearance, including a background check and fingerprinting.
