Ascension LLC is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the primary point of contact and accountable leader for delivering enterprise-level data architecture and business intelligence (BI) consulting services in support of ABMC’s mission.

This role is critical to enabling ABMC to modernize its fragmented data environment, establish a common data framework, and implement Power BI–driven dashboards that provide real-time insights across globally dispersed cemetery operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in federal program management, data transformation initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and BI implementation, and thrives in environments requiring cross-functional coordination, structured delivery, and executive-level communication.


Position Summary

The Program Manager will lead all contractor activities under this SOW and oversee execution across three primary phases:

  • Data Assessment & Needs Analysis
  • BI Platform Design & Implementation
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer

This individual will manage project execution to ensure delivery of key outputs such as:

  • Project Plan and WBS
  • Data Assessment Report
  • Custom BI Dashboards (Power BI)
  • Training Materials and Documentation

The candidate must be a strategic thinker and disciplined executor, capable of translating ambiguous data challenges into structured solutions. The role requires someone who is:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Self-driven and comfortable operating with minimal oversight
  • Skilled at anticipating risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Experienced in leading stakeholder workshops and executive engagements
  • Capable of managing distributed teams and international coordination

The Program Manager will leverage tools such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure environments, aligning with ABMC’s existing technology stack.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and ABMC leadership
  • Lead development and execution of the Project Management Plan, schedule, and deliverables
  • Coordinate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data discovery sessions across multiple directorates
  • Oversee data assessment, gap analysis, and BI requirements definition activities
  • Manage integration of data sources into a unified BI framework
  • Direct development and refinement of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Facilitate stakeholder review sessions and incorporate feedback into deliverables
  • Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
  • Deliver bi-weekly and monthly status reports to the COR
  • Ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST, GDPR considerations)
  • Coordinate training sessions and knowledge transfer activities
  • Manage travel coordination and execution for required on-site engagements (Arlington and Paris)
  • Drive continuous improvement and alignment with mission outcomes
